2. Namespace-Wise Rules & Required Documents
2.1 Direct .bd Domains
Available on a first-come, first-served basis. Requires proof of name relevance or identity.
2.2 .com.bd / .net.bd (Commercial)
- Valid Trade License
- Company name must match the domain
- Authorization Letter (if required)
2.3 .org.bd (NGO / Non-Profit)
- NGO Registration Certificate
- Approval from NGO Affairs Bureau
2.4 .id.bd (Personal Identity)
- National ID or Passport
- Domain must match personal name
2.5 .edu.bd / .ac.bd (Education)
- Approval from Ministry of Education or UGC
- Institution registration documents
2.6 .gov.bd / .mil.bd
- Official government authorization
- Request must come from authorized department
3. Documents Required After Registration
All required documents must be submitted within 3 working days after domain registration.
Failure to submit documents may result in automatic suspension according to BTCL policy.
4. Special Situations
- Domain Transfer: Ownership change documents required
- Information Correction: Updated and valid documents needed
- Suspension Recovery: Reason explanation + corrected documents
5. Legal Declaration
- All provided information must be accurate
- Registrant is fully responsible for domain usage
- Providing false documents may lead to cancellation
